As a mom, I know how pocket-draining it can be to buy baby essentials. That’s why I want to help lighten your load by making shopping at Sunshine Babies “lighter” on your load. Want to make the switch to cloth diapers, for example, but are intimidated by huge upfront costs? Let us shed some light on the matter and make things easy for you! 

We make shopping for baby essentials easy for you with our Layaway Program!

Sign up for our Layaway Program so that you can get started on the road to cloth diapering! The program extends to all the mom and baby items you see in our store! Our layaway is offered for orders amounting to Php4,000 and above (excluding fees*, if any).  To help you meet your needs, we have 3, 4, 5 and 6 month layaway plans.  (For longer terms, please drop me a line and let’s see what we can do!)

How to avail of the Layaway Program

1. Upon checkout, find the “Any requests, comments etc” field on the webpage.
2. In this area, type ‘LAYAWAY (length of term), e.g. For a 3 month term, put ‘LAYAWAY – 3 months’ on the field.

Terms and Conditions of the Layaway Program

□    25% of your total order including shipping, if any will be billed to you upon order confirmation and must be paid in line with our store policies.  Note that this is non-refundable in case you cancel your order.  We neither charge any interest/service fees nor layaway fees. 

□    The remaining 75% will be billed to you in equal monthly installments.  The first payment begins exactly one month from the date of the 25% deposit and will be due on that same date every month. 

□    A reminder will be emailed to you two (2) days before your scheduled payment.  If paying by PayPal, an invoice will be sent there as well. 

□    We expect prompt payment. However, since we know that sometimes life gets in the way of things, we will give you a grace period of three (3) days to make good your payment; otherwise, your account is considered in default. If after three days, we do not receive any payment nor any email from you, store items will be returned to stock and your order automatically cancelled. 

□    If you wish to pay off more than the amount due in a month, you may do so but it will not reduce the amount you have to pay the next month.  All excess monthly payments will be credited to your final payment. 

□    Items will be shipped out a day after your final payment.  

Example: 

1. Let’s say on March 1, you want to avail of the 6-month layaway plan on your total order of Php4,000. Including shipping, the total amount for layaway is Php4,100.
2. On March 3—the three day window within which you should make good your payment—you must pay Php1,025 (25% of the total amount.)
3. The balance of Php3,075 will then be divided by 6 month increments (your chosen monthly term of 6 months), which is equal to Php512.50 per month.
4. On April 3—one month after your first payment—you are required to pay P512.50 and every month thereafter until your balance is paid.

Cancellation Process of the Layaway Arrangement (Automatic or Voluntary)

• In the event of cancellation, all payments made except the non-refundable 25% deposit will be returned to you via your chosen payment option.
• You may cancel the layaway anytime.  Just notify us via email and we will gladly refund you less the non-refundable deposit.

Example:

 1.  Let’s say in the illustration above you made three (3) monthly payments bringing your total payment to Php2,562.50 and then you decide to cancel your order, only Php1,537.50 (P512.5 x 3) will be returned to you.  

2.  The Php1,025.00 which is the 25% down payment will no longer be returned.

 

THE FINE PRINT

• No clearance items may be placed in the Layaway Program.
• No price adjustment can be applied after it is placed in layaway.
• If paying by PayPal, the PayPal fee will be passed on to you.  
• By indicating that you want to avail of the layaway, you agree to the terms and conditions on this page.
